This new kind of hyperhidrosis treatment (or hyperhidrosis cure if it is really permanent) looks tempting but still has me puzzled. I'm waiting until other people's experience proves this to be the real deal…
Please, if anyone here has some experience with this treatment, share it! 🙂 I would like to know if miraDry worked for you… Did you get completely and permanently cured? Were there any side effects (e.g. compensatory sweating)?
I'll admit to be somewhat skeptical about this treatment, but I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping someone will convince me that this works. 🙂

I just had it done today so I can't give any reviews on its effectiveness yet. Try to remind me in a few weeks and I'll let you know how it's going. The procedure however wasn't very painful and took around two hours. I am feeling some pain and quite a bit of swelling but it's not worse than a bad sun burn. Although it's still very early to make any judgements, I have been 100% sweat free for these 12 hours since I do the procedure which is more than I can remember since my hyperhidrosis began approximately a year ago. I'm hoping that it will be a long-term.

I suffered from excessive underarm sweating my entire life and I have tried everything, miraDry by far was the best thing I have ever done to help with my condition. Now, I no longer worry about having to throw away t-shirts because no matter what I tried I ruined them in a matter of months. I no longer have the fear of wearing a suit and having the entire underarm area entirely saturated. I was basically at my wits end and became resigned to the fact that I would always be saturated but hoped it wouldn’t happen. I just want to say that this is a great life changing procedure and will benefit many people. The side effects were exactly as my doctor said – very minimal.

I am working in a dermatology office that do Miradry laser, and so this is what I know about it from treating people. It's very expensive, really, really expensive and requires two treatments months apart. It's a long procedure which can take hours, and afterwards is very painful and your underarms will become very swollen. In terms of results, the important thing to know is you won't stop sweating completely. So for someone who sweats normally, this wouldn't do much. But what it will do is make you sweat like a normal person without hyperhidrosis. The one big upside is that it is the safest and most permanent option available on the market now.

I had the first treatment done 9 days ago and I am sweating pretty badly. The armpits are still swollen a bit. I would say it's a 10-20% improvement. They say you could experience a hundred percent dry armpits right after the treatment and the sweating might come back a little a month later. I am not so sure if I should get the second treatment. The procedure is extremely painful for me. I'm really sad because Miradry seems to be the best treatment for underarm excessive sweating lately and apparently it's not working well for me. Any suggestions everyone? Thanks in advance.

My battle with sweat stains and underarm odor has prompted me to hit the needle in the past. For those who aren’t aware, Botox is a highly effective treatment in banishing excessive perspiration and works like a charm—for six to nine months.

Then I used Miradry! The result? Honestly, I was too sore and sensitive initially to notice a change, but three weeks after the treatment I subjected myself to the ultimate sweat test—a trip to Miami, the humidity capital of the world.

The verdict is definitely more a case of reduction than total removal. As a reformed chronic sweater, I now face a future without underarm botox, sweat pads and constant wet, stinky pits. And that’s got me much, much happier. And nope, you won’t suddenly have sweat showing up via other body parts by way of compensation as the treatment area is so small.

I have struggled with excessive sweating since I was a young teen. I was excited to learn of a procedure called Miradry, then finally i had MiraDry 2 weeks ago. It was awesome! Permanent reduction in sweat, odor and hair in my underarms after one painless MiraDry Treatment. Incredible knowledgeable staff. Reasonable pricing. It worked better than I thought and painless. I am so glad.

        hello
I had the miradry treatment. I am so pleased with the treatment it has been a weeks and I am definitely noticing that i am sweating much less than before. I did not have much pain after the procedure. I would recommend the treatment to anyone who experiences excess sweating under their armpits. Moreover I like the doctor and the nurse that attend to me and they were truly professionals that made me feel safe and comfortable.

It's been two months since my MiraDry treatment, and while my swelling and lumps have vanished, my sweating hasn't gone away completely. That said, it has diminished significantly, to the point where I only feel a little bit of wetness on really hot days — and don't even need deodorant to fend off odor, though I still wear it to smell nice. Before the procedure, I only used prescription-strength antiperspirant, but I've found that natural deodorantIf you decide to go for it, find a provider that makes you feel comfortable, and give your body time to heal—it’s not an in-and-out procedure, believe me.Thanks, hope this would help.

I have honestly tried almost everything out there and have seen several doctors that have yet to help. I’m to the point where I want my sweating completely gone! It’s ruined my life! I’d just like to live the life I haven’t been able to because of it. I actually did undergo into miradry treatment and have noticed that it really absorbs my underarm sweat issues and it really prevents from staining my clothing. I suggest others to try the miradry treatment as well hope it works for others as well.

I did! And it works! The first time I worked out after having the procedure I mentally thought I was wet, but I have not had any issues with being wet in the treated area, it was great!

I think everyone would benefit from miraDry! I work with many people who have excessive sweating that I know causes embarrassment. This would reduce, if not totally eliminate the medications they need to use in order to control their issues, all which have potential side effects. I think this would be a life changer for anyone who suffers excessive sweating. I also think this would be wonderful for people who just don’t want to sweat under their arms anymore, and people who don’t want to have any chemicals on their skin from deodorant.

My advice to anyone considering MiraDry is that it's really worth it. MiraDry can cost between $1,500 to $4,500 and need two treatments for optimal results. But in my case, I just underwent 1 treatment because I didn't want to deal with the pain (which is just normal) again.
After the 1st treatment, I was given pack of Ice to apply in my underarm every 20-30 minutes for 2 days and given Ibuprofen to help ease the pain.
Although I didn't take the 2nd treatment to attain the optimal result, and though I am not 100% cured, after the 1st Treatment, my excessive sweating has diminished significantly.
