I have started doing iontophoresis for underarms, but have problems wits occasional skin lesions. Now, the manual says I should use petroleum jelly in those spots, but I really can’t stand the smell of it. I know, it’s not a particularly strong smell, but I really find it repulsive. Since petroleum jelly is specific and cannot be replaced with a lotion or a cream, I need a good alternative to this. Something that I could apply to my skin to last through the iontophoresis treatment and protect the skin cracks so they don’t hurt. Or is there a kind of petroleum jelly that is scented and smells differently? Any help appreciated!
