I am interested in participating in clinical research because I have sweaty hands and feet along with sweaty armpits… So, considering the vast number of overactive sweat glands I'd need to block, I can't afford paying for procedures such as Botox, and I am not sure if it's worth saving for an iontophoresis machine since they would require continuous treatments. Sweat gland removal is also not an option…
Did anyone try participating in clinical research to obtain a free hyperhidrosis treatment – or, even better, a hyperhidrosis cure? I don't know how to look at those – it's a chance to obtain a revolutionary excessive sweating treatment that could solve my problems for good, but then again I don't want to be “lab rat” for risky new procedures. Even if they can discover how to stop sweaty armpits for example, it's all in vain if I get bad side-effects.
