I thing among the first symptoms of vitamin D deficiency is a sweaty head. When I gave birth, I remember that the physician asked me several times during the first months of childbirth whether my newborn has a sweaty head. The reason is simple, sweaty head and excessive sweating is one of the first and earliest symptoms of vitamin D deficiency.

Depending on the sweating symptoms, excess perspiration can be caused by anything from low blood sugar to pregnancy to thyroid issues to medication. Excessive sweating, especially sweating of the head, can be a sign of a vitamin D deficiency. A change in the amount you sweat or your sweating patterns should be cause for concern.
