Lucas started the topic Excessive Sweat and the Couch Problem! in the forum Hyperhidrosis Forum 10 years, 5 months ago
Any ideas how to deal with the excessive sweat on the couch and the chairs?
I recently threw my old couch, the surface of which was made of fabric that was nearly impossible to wash and made me very warm and sweatier than usual. After that, I bought an eco-leather couch that is super easy to clean and wash, but I overlooked one awful thing:…[Read more]

So far, miraDry was available only in the few countries outside U.S. – Japan, Korea and Canada.
Well, I just found out on miraDry website that this is no longer the case! Now, several more countries have physicians who offer this hyperhidrosis treatment for underarms. The complete list now goes like…[Read more]

Hey, I’m pretty much a newbie, only been doing iontophoresis for months now, but here it is: I think it took me about 5 weeks to get everything working just right.
My iontophoresis device is Idrostar + and it is supposed to be a high profile device. In my experience, despite that, it did take some getting used to, and for a while even after I…[Read more]

Hey Vivian, I’m back!
Just wanted to update this thread by saying that in the end I chose Idrostar +. In these past couple of months, it really made a difference, especially on my palms! 😀
So, to me, iontophoresis seems like the way to go if you want to get rid of sweating – or at least that was my experience. I even volunteered to blog about…[Read more]

Hi!
Seeing an addition of Idrostar to the website’s list of iontophoresis machines, I got curious. A little bit of research led me to discover the existence of several different Idrostar models. Naturally I could be mistaken, but apart from having a different product name, they also seem to look different in the images I found.

The applicator you linked looks like it could get the job done if you can firmly adjust it to your body. Definitely ask someone to assist you (a family member..?) The same person can also make sure that your applicator is properly wet, and to adjust the voltage and everything after you lie down.
Good luck with this! 🙂

Lucas started the topic Pain after the miraDry procedure in the forum MiraDry Forum 11 years, 4 months ago
Ouch! Reading testimonials online, I found that some people experienced sore underarms up to 5 weeks after the procedure.
Also, there are reported burns and bruises, something which worries me a little. I would guess that it’s no worse than Botox, but I guess I can’t be sure, huh? Treating one’s sensitive body part to microwaves seems…[Read more]

Thank you! I added you to my friends list and I’m looking forward to your messages. 😉
Ah and you’re still young, don’t let heavy sweating affect your life too much. Everyone has flaws and problems, even people who are not sweating profusely… Nobody is perfect so there’s no need to be nervous about your excess sweating. Remember that. 🙂 -

Awesome, let me know how it goes! It takes some getting used to since the “feel” is definitely not the same when holding the controller/using keyboard over the wrap with sweaty palms – it’s sometimes even slippery if you are sweating profusely. Still, it’s a relief not having to trap my sweaty hands into gloves. And replacing wrap is much easier…[Read more]

Hi!
Are there any gamers here? Either way, it won’t harm if I share some awesome tips for playing video games with sweaty hands. In fact, I have one ultimate tip, and it boils down to two words: Plastic wrap. Yes, the good old ordinary transparent plastic wrap, typically used to pack food leftovers. How this works:
